Guidelines for Utilizing Private Rooms in a Home for Accommodation Swap
("Loyalty Members" and general public)

If you wish to share a private room within or attached to your home with fellow Accommodation Swap members, you may do so under the following conditions:

How to Register

Register your room with us by contacting admin@accommodationswap.com.

Listing Requirements

  • You are not required to maintain an official website or Facebook presence.
  • We will provide you with a one-page listing including photos and a detailed description of what you are offering.

Credit System

A fixed fee of 1 credit per night applies, regardless of the number of occupants staying in the room.

Optional Meal Offerings

  • You may offer breakfast, dinner, or other meals at your discretion.
  • Payment for meals can be arranged through credits or cash, as mutually agreed.

Using Earned Credits

Credits earned through hosting can be used to book accommodations with other members, under the same standard conditions.

Claiming Credits

To claim your credits after hosting, you must complete and submit the designated swap form created for this option.

Referral Program

  • Earn additional credits and cash rewards by recruiting new members.
  • Each successful referral earns 3 free credits and a R400 cash reward.

Purchasing Additional Credits

If you run out of credits, you may purchase a bundle of six credits at the prevailing rate — subject to approval by Admin.

Starting Credits

New members: Receive 6 free credits upon successful registration.
Existing Loyalty Members: Your account will carry over your current credit balance.

Annual Subscription

The annual subscription fee must be kept up to date and renewed annually in May.

Evolving Terms

As this is a new initiative, the terms, conditions, and operational guidelines may be updated or adjusted periodically.
